Way of the Roses 2017 Itinerary
Our Way of the Roses 2017 Itinerary outlines our first tour of the year, starting in May. Sustrans describes this as a spectacular coast-to-coast cycle route passing through both the red rose county of Lancashire and the white rose county of Yorkshire.
Sarah and I have completed this particular coast-to-coast tour twice before. In 2012 it formed the second of our preparatory training tours for the End-to-End (LEJOG). And in 2014 we completed the tour with Alan and Gill, two of our Stockport Community Cycling Club friends.
In 2017, we will be undertaking the tour with two more of our Stockport Community Cycling Club friends – Andy and Andy (yes, that’s three Andy’s and a Sarah!). The four of us also recently completed the Scottish C2C.
