This Isle of Man itinerary outlines the cycle route that Andy S, Mike, Sarah and I will be following in spring 2024. We will be cycling around the edge of the Isle of Man. 

The island is a great destination for a cycling trip. There will be wonderful coastal roads, scenic country lanes and sweeping glens to discover. Here we will find testing terrain alongside quiet roads, and all the time the countryside scenery will be as diverse as can be. To complete the tour there are some excellent eateries for fuelling.

Pre-Day 1

Travel to the Isle of Man.
Stay at Douglas Premier Inn.

Day 1 – Douglas to Ramsey

Cycle from Douglas to Ramsey (Daily distance: 20 miles – Isle of Man: 22 miles).
Stay at Mountain Dream Cottage, Ramsey.

Day 2 – Ramsey to Peel

Cycle from Ramsey to Peel (Daily distance: 34 miles – Isle of Man: 54 miles).
Stay at Waldick Guest House, Peel.

Day 3 – Peel to Port Erin

Cycle from Peel to Port Erin (Daily distance: 34 miles – Isle of Man: 54 miles).
Stay at Falcon’s Nest Hotel, Port Erin.

Day 4 – Port Erin to Douglas

Cycle from Port Erin to Douglas and complete the Isle of Man route (Daily distance: 32 miles – Isle of Man: 80 miles).
