Ferry ‘cross the Mersey 2018 ride represented this year’s day out to Liverpool and Wallasey for one of Stockport Community Cycling Club‘s perennial favourite club rides. It was a fine sunny day as we left Otterspool Drive car park. We quickly joined Otterspool Promenade. And cycled alongside one side of the River Mersey. Ferry ‘Cross the Mersey

Stockport Community Cycling Club‘s latest ride was the popular ‘Ferry ‘Cross the Mersey’ trip to Liverpool.    \r\nWe started from Otterspool and headed along the promenade for the ferry port. We arrived in time to enjoy the usual cyclists cup of tea, then boarded the ferry for Seacombe (whilst listening to the first rendition of ‘Ferry ‘Cross the Mersey’).
