Ravens Route Itinerary
This Ravens Route Itinerary outlines the plans for our annual group cycling summer tour for 2018. As usual, we will be touring with some of our friends from Stockport Community Cycling Club – all of whom have been regulars on previous tours. The team this year will be – Andy P, Sarah, Andy S, Andy S, Neil, Des and Ian.
This year we are completing an English coast-to-coast route from Ravenglass to Ravenscar. It is a route we have put together ourselves – though it incorporates sections which we have cycled on previous tours, such as Hadrian’s Cycleway, Sea-to-Sea (C2C), Pennine Cycleway, and Wainwright Coast-to-Coast.
Our route will take us through the fantastic scenery of the Lake District, Yorkshire Dales and the North York Moors. While along the way we will visit historic towns such as Keswick, Penrith, Appleby-in-Westmoreland, Kirkby Stephen, Barnard Castle and Whitby.
