E2E Day 11. Following the tough day in to the winds yesterday, today offered a more leisurely ride. Not so many miles (just 37 of them), not alot of wind blowing, the chance of more great scenery, a BBQ in the evening, and a rest day tomorrow. And so it proved. E2E Day 8. Today we split into two groups again. Bruce & Paul left first and took the most direct route as Bruce was still very under the weather. Unfortunatly the group got split into two groups, mainly due to Bruce being unwell and finding it hard going. The cycle tracks into Hereford were great. E2E Day 6. After a days rest it was back in the saddle. Last week it was hills, hills and more hills. Today it was rain and then more rain. Thankfully the cycling was easier. We didn’t go through Cheddar Gorge but went along Strawberry Line instead. Lunch was taken at Portishead and happily after lunch the sun came out.
