C2C Day 1. Our trip didn’t get the best of starts! The night before we had an Indian takeaway, which tasted great but obviously contained something that my body didn’t like. Today was our Hadrian’s Cycleway Day 1, the start of our latest cycle tour adventure. We got the train up to Ravenglass, arriving at lunchtime. The official Hadrian’s Cycleway starting point is the Roman Bath house, so we made our way there passing the Ravenglass & Eskdale Railway station. This Sea-to-Sea (C2C) Itinerary covers our final tour of the year, which will undertake at the end of summer. This is, of course, the UK’s most popular Coast-to-Coast route for cyclists. Sarah and I have already completed quite a few coast-to-coast tours, including of course the End-to-End (LEJOG). However, perhaps surprisingly, the Sea-to-Sea (C2C) is not one we have tackled.
