Following a successful Stockport Community Cycling Club Annual Lunch yesterday it was back to normal business today with a cycle ride led by Neil to Knutsford in Cheshire. Sunday 10th November was the Stockport Community Cycling Club eXtra ride to Foxwist Green. The eXtra rides tend to be slightly longer than normal Sunday rides. This week we met in the car park near to Wilmslow Leisure Centre. It was a chilly but bright morning. Finally it seemed as if traces of Spring are just around the corner as Stockport Community Cycling Club enjoyed a 35 mile ride around Cheshire to Anderton Boat List. Starting from Wilmslow Leisure Centre we headed out through Ollerton, Lach Dennis and Rudheath. We skirted the edge of Northwich and weaved (appropriate since we were next to the River Weaver) our way through Neumann’s Flashes which forms part of Marbury Country Park.
