Following on from our ride along the coast of North Wales yesterday, we tackled a different section today. We again were following the National Cycle route but the weather was not as nice today. One of the best cycle routes in the UK has to be the coastal cycle path along the North Wales coast (i.e. sections of National Cycle Network routes 5 & 8). I write this whilst sat in the passenger seat of a car on the A55 on the way home from an excellent SCCC Club Weekend in Bangor. We stayed at Bangor University. Saturday We set off early on a lovely Saturday morning to meet up with everyone at Chester Services. Before we set off on our Wales weekend we had planned certain activities for each day. Sunday was going to be a walk in the hills. However …following Saturday’s tough day of cycling which finished with the downpour we decided a more leisurely day was called for.
