Lymm and High Legh

Lymm and High Legh

Neil had put together this route for our latest COVID-19 lockdown cycle ride. Starting from Bramhall, it would take us into Cheshire to Lymm and High Legh. It was an overcast but generally fine Sunday morning that saw five of us set off along the A555, the Airport Relief Road. We followed the A555 for four miles. Then turned off and made our way around the perimeter of Manchester Airport. After navigating our way around the edge of Wythenshawe we…

This weekend, the volume…

After following the cycleway for a few miles, we turned off into Mill Lane. This took us towards Ashley. After crossing Mobberley Road…

Prestbury – Including Mottram St Andrew and Bollington

It was, perhaps surprising for this time of year, glorious weather for a Good Friday. The UK (and indeed the rest of the world) are currently struggling with the coronavirus pandemic. However, thankfully we are currently allowed one session of exercise each day. There may not be any Stockport Community Cycling Club rides at the moment, however, Sarah and I were still determined to make the most of the fabulous weather and get out on our bikes. Prestbury would be…
