Sunday was the SCCC Plumley Ride where 16 of us met up at Timperley Sports Club. We left Timperley sports centre and headed out towards Hale. We skirted around Tatton Park. Making our way through Knutsford. having passed through Knutsford, we headed out onto some quiet lanes towards Plumley. We stopped at the Plantation Cafe in Plumley for lunch. The locomotive 76084 steam train came to Stockport today on it’s way to Buxton. It is not too often that there is steam train in Stockport, so we had to go and see it! The 76084 along with the 45690 locomotive were pulling a spar express to Buxton as a private charter. Saturday was the SCCC cycle ride to Astley. Andy and I cycled to the start but stopped off at Longford Park for the Stretford Parkrun, which I ran and Andy watched.
