Lincolnshire Lost Lanes Itinerary

Lincolnshire Lost Lanes Itinerary

This Lincolnshire Lost Lanes Itinerary outlines a short little tour I (Andy) will be cycling in Autumn 2022. It is inspired by Jack Thurston’s series of cycling guidebooks. The fifth in the series is a celebration of cycling around Central England, including Lincolnshire. I will cycle with some of our friends from Stockport Community Cycling Club. The team for our short little tour will be Andy P, Andy S, Andy S and Mike.

Lincoln Cathedral

Lincolnshire is a fantastic county to explore by bike. From the cathedral city of Lincoln, with its cobbled streets and lively city centre, to the historic towns of Newark-on-Trent with its castle, and the charming market town of Louth. Then there are the wide-open spaces and vast skies of the Lincolnshire Wolds and the surrounding countryside. Yes, when cycling in Lincolnshire there will be so much to explore.
