There were some e-bikes which had been brought along by Woodsons Cycles in Edgeley that were available to be tried out by those over 18 as well as some refurbished children’s bikes that had been bought along by Cera Cycloan.

Cera Cycloan had provided a cycle obstacle course.

Stockport County’s Edgeley Park Ground

Having past the Football stadium (Edgeley Park) of Stockport County, we crossed over the reservoir.

Having crossed the reservoir, we headed towards Adswood.

Brief stop by Prior Park

We had a brief stop alongside Prior Park to allow time for the marshal’s to move ahead of us. It also allowed for some more air to be pumped into someone’s tyre. We then made our way through to Davenport.

As we arrived at the junction with Bramhall Lane, we asked people to get off and walk along the pavement for a short while to Cale Green Park – this is because it is a really busy junction.

Once we reached Cale Green Park entrance, we were able to get back on our bikes. We stopped in the middle of the park to allow everyone to catch up. Some had been held up by the pedestrian lights by Davenport Station.

From the park we then made our way back to Cale Green School, using the back lanes as much as possible.

Having arrived back at Cale Green School, everyone seemed to have really enjoyed the ride.
