After the previous weekends’ snowy ride to Lymm, it was pleasing to arrive in far more pleasant weather at Adswood Park. This was the start point for the Stockport Community Cycling Club Cheadle Hulme Circular afternoon ride. Originally the ride was going to include a section along the new Ladybrook Valley path (hence the initially being titled ‘Ladybook Valley’). Cale Green WOW Ride 2018

Women on Wheels is a TfGM initiative for a series of March events aimed at encouraging more women to cycle. Stockport Community Cycling Club led a couple of rides last year (see here and here) and another one earlier this month. This Saturday was the second WOW (Women on Wheels) that SCCC (Stockport Community Cycling Club) have been involved in this month. The first WOW ride blog can be seen here.
