Tuesday was Ravens Route Day 4. We left the Royal Oak in Appleby-in-Westmorland, which was a great place to stay. We took a slight detour and crossed over a footbridge. Monday was Ravens Route Day 3. We left our B&B and cycled into the centre of Keswick and then headed out into the old railway line. After a couple of miles, we had to divert off the old railway line as it was closed. During the 2015 floods the bridges, we damaged and haven’t been restored as yet. Saturday was Ravens Route Day 1, and the start of our Ravens Route Tour (Ravenglass to Ravenscar). Saturday was the SCCC AGM which was held at the new Brinnington Park Leisure Centre. After the cycling club AGM we went for a ride to Portland Basin. We set off out of Brinnington towards Bredbury Park Industrial Estate. Passing the Mill Lane Recreation Ground, where there was a football match in progress.
