Welsh Borders Itinerary
Our Welsh Borders Itinerary outlines our main summer tour for 2022. It is, as usual, our annual group cycle tour with some of our friends from Stockport Community Cycling Club. This year the team will be Andy P, Sarah, Andy S, Andy S, Neil, Des, Tracey and first-timer, Dave. This will be our eleventh summer tour. Yet again it promises to be something special!
The Welsh Borderlands, sometimes known as the Welsh Marches, is ideal for a cycling holiday. It is unspoilt, with little traffic and lots of history – there are romantic castles, standing stones, moss-strewn churches, pagan wells, and Victorian spas to name just a few. Then there are the picturesque black and white villages set in the lush and undulating landscape. Yes, ideal for cycling.
