Three months to go before our first cycling tour of 2013, our Coast and Castles South itinerary is taking shape. There will be seven of us cycling the tour – Andy P, Sarah, Andy S, Des, Neil, Debbie, and Tracey. All, apart from Tracey, have cycled tours together before. E2E Day 12 – Day Off!

E2E Day 12 – Day Off!

E2E Day 12. Today is a day off and very welcome it is too!  Windermere Youth Hostel is actually at Troutbeck Bridge and has amazing views down across the valley and the lake. The highlight of the day was always going to be the crossing of the Severn Bridge and this proved to be…

E2E Day 5 – Day off in Cheddar

E2E Day 5 – Day off in Cheddar

E2E Day 5. Today was lovely weather and it was great to be able to enjoy it and appreciate our day off. The team all did different things  – cleaning bikes, having a snooze or going for a walk around Cheddar Gorge. Then some went to the pub in the afternoon to watch the football whilst others of us stayed at the Youth Hostel to cook a roast dinner (roast chicken dinner followed by homemade lemon cheese cake). Back on…
