E2E Day 10. Following an excellent meal last in Widnes with friends and family Thankfully (a big thanks to all those who came along), today it was back to the cycling. E2E Day 9. Last night we spent some time with Jim & Barbara Court, which was lovely. Today there were 3 groups of us. Kevin & James set off early as they were going home to Chorley tonight. E2E Day 8. Today we split into two groups again. Bruce & Paul left first and took the most direct route as Bruce was still very under the weather. The rest of us followed the planned route, which took us down some lovely quiet lanes and pretty villages. Ludlow was especially nice with the river, castle and old buildings. The E2E ride (End to End from Lands End to John o’Groats) has been meticulously planned over the last two years. With there being eight of us doing the whole ride, 1 extra going from Lands End to Cheddar and then an extra 5 from the Isle of Arran to Inverness, there are going to be quite a few folks that will need to be kept well fed.
