Wednesday was our TPT Day 3 – Stockport to High Melton. We set off from home and cycled back to where the TPT enters Reddish Vale, where we left it yesterday. TPT Day 2 – Widnes to Stockport

As we left Widnes Travelodge on TPT Day 2 it was a cool and misty morning. All was set for an enjoyable day of cycle touring. We decided on breakfast at the nearby Brewers Fayre. Having fortified ourselves we set off on stage 2 of our journey and were soon on the St Helen’s Canal towpath. Today was the TPT Day 1 – Southport to Widnes. Yesterday we got the train to Southport and stopped over at the Travelodge. After a wander around Southport this morning, and stopping for coffee. Last year Sarah and I were busy when Neil’s Halton Castle ride took place, so we were really looking forward to Stockport Community Cycling Club‘s latest longer ride.
