Easter Sunday in Southport

Easter Weekend had begun with plenty of activity for Sarah and I. On Friday we had participated in the Salford 10k, recced the forthcoming Stockport Community Cycling Club ride to Culcheth that Sarah will be leading. On the Saturday we began the day by volunteering at the Bramhall Parkrun and then running 15 miles as our last longer training before the Greater Manchester marathon in a few weeks time. Salford 10k 2015

Good Friday was the Salford 10k 2015 race hosted by Salford Harriers. It was a very wet start to the day and the forecast was heavy rain all day. The race started at Salford Sports Village. UPDATE - All good things must come to an end! After more than 10 years of writing about our cycling adventures (and other stuff too), we are placing this blog on hold. We are not stopping writing entirely and may occasionally add further posts should the urge grab us, just not every week!

This year we are aiming to complete two major cycle tours were as follows:
