I write this whilst sat in the passenger seat of a car on the A55 on the way home from an excellent SCCC Club Weekend in Bangor. We stayed at Bangor University. Saturday We set off early on a lovely Saturday morning to meet up with everyone at Chester Services. A quick cup of coffee (accompanied by a gluten-free chocolate brownie!) and then it was on to Rhyl for the start of the first of the two club rides over the weekend….
Before we set off on our Wales weekend we had planned certain activities for each day. Sunday was going to be a walk in the hills. However …following Saturday’s tough day of cycling which finished with the downpour we decided a more leisurely day was called for.
