E2E Day 2. We had a bit of a lumpy morning with plenty of goings up and down! Lunch was fish & chips at a little cafe on Padstow Harbour. Then we had to go onto the beach to catch the little ferry over to Rock. We stopped outside a house that had a hosepipe by the road and washed the worst of the sand off the bikes – hope they didn’t mind! Then we were off up hill again…
Our End-to-End (LEJOG) Itinerary outlines our route. These are the various places where we intend staying overnight: Day 0 – Journey to Land’s End Travel down to Cornwall – fly from Manchester to Exeter, taxi from airport to rail station, then a train to Penzance.Collect our bikes and panniers from the cycle shop, then cycle over to Land’s End Youth Hostel.We will be joined by Ian, another member of SCCC, who will travel with us as far as Cheddar.
