This Sunday’s hey diddle diddle ride was the latest in Stockport Community Cycling Club‘s eXtra Ride series, rides aimed at the more adventurous end of the clubs membership. Middlewood Way

The latest Stockport Community Cycling Club ride saw us off along the Middlewood Way on an overcast and quite cold day. The Middlewood Way is an old railway line between Marple and Macclesfield.    The first few miles are deceptive since it is a gradual climb to Higher Poynton. Then it is on to Bollington. The latest Stockport Community Cycling Club ride saw us taking a trip to Lyme Park. It was a cold but thankfully dry morning as 25 hardy club members met at Rose Hill.
