Mellor Cross and Cobden Edge Walk

Following a quiet start to 2022, and a rest, Sarah and I joined our friends Andy and Mike for this bank holiday walk to Mellor Moor and Cobden Edge. Mellor Moor Walk

Good Friday was a good day for a walk, so we met a friend in Marple Bridge and set off for a walk to Mellor Moor. It was a lovely day for our Mellor Moor walk. Because the weather was so good, the views were really good. We passed the Hare and Hounds pub at Mill Brow. Our walk then continued to climb. We passed Mellor Hall. UPDATE - All good things must come to an end! After more than 10 years of writing about our cycling adventures (and other stuff too), we are placing this blog on hold. We are not stopping writing entirely and may occasionally add further posts should the urge grab us, just not every week!

This year we are aiming to complete two major cycle tours were as follows:
