Sunday was the the Stockport Community Cycling Club Peover Heath ride. This was a longer ride than we often do, being about 45 miles. Andy was the ride leader and I was the back leader for the day. Following a successful Stockport Community Cycling Club Annual Lunch yesterday it was back to normal business today with a cycle ride led by Neil to Knutsford in Cheshire. Considering it was an overcast Sunday morning there was a healthy turnout of club members arrived at Wilmslow Leisure Centre from where the ride started. After our recent Coast and Castles South tour, on Saturday it was back to the regular Stockport Community Cycling Club rides. Not quite the coastline of Northumberland, the spirituality of Lindisfarne, or the green valleys of the Scottish Borders. Instead in ‘Cheshire Cheese’ Jim had lined up an alternative cycle ride quite unlike any other previously encountered by SCCC.
