Following yesterdays entry into Hadrian’s Wall Country, Hadrian’s Cycleway Day 4 enabled us to visit a further three Roman forts as we continued our journey. Hadrian’s Cycleway Day 3. Before leaving Carlisle and starting our cycling, we wanted to take some time to have a look around. Our first stop was Carlisle Cathedral. Hadrian’s Cycleway Day 2. Following Hadrian’s Cycleway Day 1 of our tour, today was our longest day, from Cockermouth to Carlisle. This would mean cycling back to Workington and then following the coast up to the start of Hadrian’s Wall. From there we would finish the day by cycling on to Carlisle.
