It’s getting close now!

Tonight we visited Bruce and dropped off some bags with things that his wife Elaine will bring to Widnes for us. They contained some replacement toiletries, extra snack bars (gluten free ones) in case I can”t get any along the way as well as some different clothes and shoes to wear at the meal in Widnes. Elaine is a real star! Another star is Sue (Andy Sykes’s partner) who has very kindly offered to drive us to the airport on Tuesday morning!

The wind was decidedly chilly this evening and the head wind on the way home made it hard work. We went out around the lanes near Poynton, which is always very pleasant! There were loads of bluebells out and we saw quite a lots of lambs as well. Just a shame that the sun wasn’t out but at least the rain held off.
