The ride started at Davenport Green. We headed out through Bramhall, across the grounds of Total Fitness then across the A34 and through to Styal. The route then took us to Mobberley, skirting Knutsford, then through Pickmere, Lostock Green and round to Peover Heath. The plan was to stop for lunch at The Dog in there. Tonight we went out on our regular circuit through Cheadle Hulme, Gatley, Wythenshawe, Northenden, West Didsbury, Heaton Mersey, Stockport and Davenport. We cycled about 17 miles through all kinds of weather. It was sunny when we left, then went through rain, hail, winds and back to sunshine by the time we got home – what a real mixture that was!
