Bank holiday Monday was our C2C Day 3. It was always going to be a tough day as there were three big hills to be climbed. As we left Highfield’s B&B in Alston, it was already warm and sunny. This Sea-to-Sea (C2C) Itinerary covers our final tour of the year, which will undertake at the end of summer. This is, of course, the UK’s most popular Coast-to-Coast route for cyclists. Sarah and I have already completed quite a few coast-to-coast tours, including of course the End-to-End (LEJOG). However, perhaps surprisingly, the Sea-to-Sea (C2C) is not one we have tackled.
