Welsh Borders Day 7 – Chester to Stockport

On Welsh Borders Day 6 we completed the coast-to-coast route. However, our cycling wasn’t yet complete, as we still had to get home. So on Welsh Borders Day 7, we cycled from Chester back to Stockport. Leaving our accommodation we went for some breakfast, and afterwards navigated our way through Chester. Stretford to Chester

On the horizon is our Hebridean Way cycle tour. With that in mind, four of us decided on a short cycling weekend to Chester. To get some cycling miles in, so to speak. This Macclesfield Circular 2021 cycle route repeated our Stockport Community Cycling Club ride of 2017 and 2019. It has always proved to be a ride enjoyed by our members for being challenging while surrounded by some lovely scenery. Our little group of six met up on a windy Sunday morning for this cycle ride out to Macclesfield and Gawsworth. This weeks cycle route was put together by Tracey.
