Sunday was the SCCC High Legh Ride. The ride started from the Gatley Station car park. Although Jim, the club leader, was not coming out cycling he met us there in the hope of being able to hand out some medals to the club members who had not been able to attend the club lunch the previous week. Sunday was the SCCC High Legh Ride. It is not a ride that we have done for a few year but which started from Gatley Railway Station. We soon picked up the part of the route that we had used the previous day of the Manchester Airport Afternoon ride. Sunday saw the latest Stockport Community Cycling Club eXtra ride, our more advance rides covering 50 miles plus. We have been to Appleton Thorn before as part of the eXtra ride series, however Julia brought us our lunch destination from a completely different direction. The ride started at Gatley Rail station.
