Having had an enjoyable visit to Criccieth Castle, we headed off to Harlech to see the castle there. Having parked the car we decided to have our packed lunch before walking round to the castle. As we were eating, we watched the rain being driven horizontally by the wind!

When we got to the top of the tower, the wind was so strong that it was hard to stand up.

On our way back to Porthmadog, we went through Maentwrog and saw some fabulous scenery.

Although it was very wet and very windy we had a great afternoon!
