It was an overcast Saturday morning when Sarah and I met up with a group of Stockport Community Cycling Club members in Woodsmoor. I was leading this Vuelta a Stockport cycle ride. Sarah was the back-leader.

After leaving Woodsmoor we headed for Bramhall.

We cycled down Tenement Lane.

Then down the Ladybrook Cycleway.

From the cycleway we picked up NCN Route 558. This took us through Brookfields Park.

A little further on we entered Bruntwood Park.

We then weaved our way through Cheadle Hulme.

Followed by crossing the A34.

And back towards Bramhall as we followed the A555.

Then, after turning into Blossoms Lane we took a short break.

And made friends with the locals …

Back on our bikes we cycled towards Woodford.

By continuing up Blossoms Lane and then into Church Lane.

Before turning back towards Bramhall.

We followed the Ladybrook Valley for a little while.

Before finally following the paths through Bramhall …

And Woodsmoor …
