Finally we were witnessing a sustained period of sunshine in the UK in early June, and Sunday morning presented us with another fantastic sunny day for a cycle ride out in to the Cheshire lanes. Following our exploits around Porthmadog it was back to our regular club rides this weekend. This meant joining Stockport Community Cycling Club as we cycled to High Legh Station. Training Ride

Tonight we went out on our regular circuit through Cheadle Hulme, Gatley, Wythenshawe, Northenden, West Didsbury, Heaton Mersey, Stockport and Davenport. We cycled about 17 miles through all kinds of weather. It was sunny when we left, then went through rain, hail, winds and back to sunshine by the time we got home – what a real mixture that was!
