Finally it seemed as if traces of Spring are just around the corner as Stockport Community Cycling Club enjoyed a 35 mile ride around Cheshire to Anderton Boat List. Starting from Wilmslow Leisure Centre we headed out through Ollerton, Lach Dennis and Rudheath. We set out from Burton on Trent on a sunny morning. It had obviously been cold overnight as the was frost on the car and grass. We drove a short way to Branston Water Park. The plan today was to follow a walk called ‘Monks and Moorings’, or at least some of it depending on how we felt. The walk was on The National Forest website.
