Halls Route

Halls Route

The Halls Route has become a regular event on the Stockport Community Cycling Club calendar. Sadly Sarah hasn’t been feeling too well for the last few days and wasn’t up to tackling this ride. A shame since she has never cycled the Halls Route …yet.    A healthy group (pun intended) of club members met at the bottom of Vernon Park. This ride was a point in case since it involves a cycle ride up a section of the Trans…

SCCC Ride to Lymm

SCCC Ride to Lymm

It was a lovely sunny day, although a little chilly to start with. The Stockport Community Cycling Club ride officially started from Atlantic Street in Broadheath. However we decided to cycle to the starting point. Our route took us out through Cheadle (where we caught up with another member from the club), Gatley, Wythenshawe and Timperley. By the time we reached the official start point we had cycled 11 miles. The club ride route followed out along the Transpennine Trail…
