Back in August Stockport Community Cycling Club assisted with the marshalling of the Big Stockport Cycle. The route proved a popular one, so why not the same ride – but in reverse? The first Stockport Community Cycling Club Saturday ride of the year was titled Chadkirk Bridge and led by Graham. We met up at Torkington Park on a very cold morning, and in spite of the cold and the national forecast for the day 20+ club members still decided to brave the weather. I hadn’t been to Etherow Country Park for many years, and yet it seems over the last twelve months I have been numerous times. This latest visit was for a New Years Day stroll with fellow members of Stockport Family Church which we have recently started attending.
