Most people know that Holyhead is a ferry port. It’s the place where you go when you want to catch a ferry to Ireland. However it came as a nice surprise to find that it nestles at the bottom of Holyhead Mountain and also has a nice little promenade. SCCC Club Weekend in Bangor

I write this whilst sat in the passenger seat of a car on the A55 on the way home from an excellent SCCC Club Weekend in Bangor. We stayed at Bangor University. Saturday We set off early on a lovely Saturday morning to meet up with everyone at Chester Services.
