Having had an enjoyable visit to Criccieth Castle, we headed off to Harlech to see the castle there. Having parked the car we decided to have our packed lunch before walking round to the castle. We stayed at the Travelodge in Porthmadog. The plan had been to go cycling today but unfortunately the weather forecast of rain & strong winds was correct. Swallow Falls Walk – Welsh Water

We set off today for a few days away in Wales, to stay at Porthmadog to be exact. On the way there we stopped off at Betws-y-Coed to have a walk around. We had planned a circular walk which would take in Swallow Falls, which mapped out at just under 7 miles. Having parked near the train station we set off through the town before crossing the river.
