Media City is always a popular ride in the Stockport Community Cycling Club calendar. Perhaps surprisingly it is a new club ride for me, though Sarah wrote a blog post of a previous Media City ride a couple of years ago. Sunday was the Greater Manchester Marathon 2015. As many of you already know, the training plan went to pot during the last couple of months and we were not feeling at all confident before the event. Media City Ride

The Stockport Community Cycling Club Media City ride was on Sunday. We met up near the Robin Hood pub in Stretford. From there we headed off to the to the Bridgewater Canal. Where the canal goes under Chester Road, the towpath was closed due to works on the bridge.
