Relaxing in Norwich

After our journey over to Norwich on Friday and then spending a day in Ipswich on Saturday, today was a day for relaxing in Norwich. The sun was out and a stroll following the Norwich Riverside Walk seemed a perfect way to start the day. The walk follows the River Wensum. The walk passes Cow Tower owned by English Heritage.       No visit to Norwich is complete without a visit to the Norwich Cathedral. We headed there next.   …

Day trip to Ipswich

Having spent the night in Norwich, we had a whistle stop tour of Norwich (about 30 minutes long). There was some kind of festival going on (the annual Norwich and Norfolk Festival apparently). Friday we were off work. Andy had his final assignment for his OU course to be in by 12 noon – he only just got it in on time. After lunch we set off for a long weekend in Norwich.
