C2C Day 4 – The journey to Roker This was our final day of cycling the C2C. After leaving Hownsgill Bunkhouse we began the day by continuing as we had finished the previous day. So that meant another downhill stretch through Consett to finish off the Waskerley Way. Coast and Castles South Day 8. Today was our final day of cycle touring as we completed the final section of the Coast and Castles South route back down to Berwick-Upon-Tweed. Coast and Castles South Day 3. Today, was another great day weather wise! Before leaving Alnwick, we went to look at the castle. We then headed out of town and back to the coast. Leaving the excellent York House Hotel in Whitley Bay we picked up the NCN 72 cycle coastal path towards Blyth. We passed the Blyth Battery Museum and decided to have a look round.
