Killerton – A Family Home and a Great Estate

Killerton – A Family Home and a Great Estate

We had been combining Sarah’s work trip down in the south-west of England with visiting opportunities. We had spent time in Winchester with my brother, and when Sarah had been working I had cycled to Exeter. Once Sarah had finished working, we began our journey back home by stopping off at Killerton. Cycle it to Exeter from Newton Abbot

Cycle it to Exeter from Newton Abbot

Sarah has recently been given regular work commitments in the south-west. Kedleston Hall is an eighteenth-century mansion with Adam interiors. The estate has been in the hands of the Curzon…

Lytes Cary Manor – A Timeless Little World to Reflect and Enjoy

They who owned it from the 13th to the 18th century. Unable to afford its…

Bodnant Garden in Winter

Bodnant Garden in Winter

Sarah and I took the opportunity of a free day to visit Bodnant Garden. Originally we had been due to run in the Southport Mad Dog 10k but we had both withdrawn from this due to recent illnesses. Nonetheless, we decided to keep this day free for, with my Open University days reaching the final stages, this might prove to be one of the few opportunities we have in the next few months to get out. So, it was a cool…
