A healthy number of Stockport Community Cycling Club members met at Torkington Park for Alec’s ‘Macclesfield Lumps’ ride. Sarah and I had been on a two hour run as part of our Conwy Half-Marathon training the previous day and were still feeling the miles in our legs. Sunday was an SCCC eXtra ride to Scholar Green, which was being led by Andy. The ride started at Wilmslow Leisure Centre. Sunday was the Stockport Community Cycling Club Ride out into Cheshire to Redesmere, stopping at Jodrell Bank for lunch. We all met up in Davenport. Oh it was noisy! They were digging up the road with a view to resurfacing it. The sun was out and it looked like being a lovely day, which resulted in a large turnout of 34 riders.
