Tatton Park via Lymm

Tatton Park via Lymm

While we often cycle through Tatton Park, this new route, which Neil had put together, would bring us to the park via Lymm. It was a strong turnout of Stockport Community Cycling Club members that arrived at Timperley Sports Club on a hot summer Sunday in July. In fact, there were so many of us that we split into two groups. Neil led one group with Sarah as his back-leader. While Andy S, originally pencilled in as the back-leader, now…

Lymm 2018

Lymm 2018

The Lymm 2018 cycle ride had originally been scheduled in the Stockport Community Cycling Club ride calendar for a couple of weeks ago.  Unfortunately, original iteration had been cancelled due to bad weather and rescheduled for this weekend instead. SCCC Ride to Lymm

The back leader was meant to be Andy P but he was busy working on his OU assignment, so I stepped in and said that I would be the back leader instead. However when I looked at the weather forecast the night before, I wasn’t looking forward to it…

The 2015 SCCC Ride to Lymm

The 2015 SCCC Ride to Lymm

Saturday was the SCCC ride to Lymm which was lead by the gorgeous Gill. It was a ride that I have not done before. It started from the TPT (Trans Pennine Trail) car park at the end of Atlantic Street, Broadheath, Altrincham. It was a lovely hot sunny day. We headed out through Dunham towards Warburton. Along the way, John (our back leader for the day), had a puncture. We had to wait on a quite lane, next to a…
