Finally we were witnessing a sustained period of sunshine in the UK in early June, and Sunday morning presented us with another fantastic sunny day for a cycle ride out in to the Cheshire lanes. This was the latest in the series of Stockport Community Cycling Club‘s eXtra Rides. Finally it seemed as if traces of Spring are just around the corner as Stockport Community Cycling Club enjoyed a 35 mile ride around Cheshire to Anderton Boat List. Starting from Wilmslow Leisure Centre we headed out through Ollerton, Lach Dennis and Rudheath. Peover Heath eXtra Ride

The ride started at Davenport Green. We headed out through Bramhall, across the grounds of Total Fitness then across the A34 and through to Styal. The route then took us to Mobberley, skirting Knutsford, then through Pickmere, Lostock Green and round to Peover Heath. The plan was to stop for lunch at The Dog in there. Following our exploits around Porthmadog it was back to our regular club rides this weekend. This meant joining Stockport Community Cycling Club as we cycled to High Legh Station.
