Today on Pennine Cycleway – Day 3 we cycled from Bellingham to Alston. Bellingham Bunkhouse was a good place to stay. The ride started with a big climb – a theme for the day! Following yesterdays entry into Hadrian’s Wall Country, Hadrian’s Cycleway Day 4 enabled us to visit a further three Roman forts as we continued our journey. Hadrian’s Cycleway Day 3. Before leaving Carlisle and starting our cycling, we wanted to take some time to have a look around. Our first stop was Carlisle Cathedral. This Hadrian’s Cycleway itinerary covers our second tour of the year, one we will be undertaking in July.
