Wednesday 21st August is Sarah’s 50th birthday and to celebrate this landmark occasion we decided to spend the time at Caernarfon. Sunday saw the latest Stockport Community Cycling Club eXtra ride, our more advance rides covering 50 miles plus. We have been to Appleton Thorn before as part of the eXtra ride series, however Julia brought us our lunch destination from a completely different direction. The ride started at Gatley Rail station. Finally we were witnessing a sustained period of sunshine in the UK in early June, and Sunday morning presented us with another fantastic sunny day for a cycle ride out in to the Cheshire lanes. This Sunday’s hey diddle diddle ride was the latest in Stockport Community Cycling Club‘s eXtra Ride series, rides aimed at the more adventurous end of the clubs membership.
