Cheadle Hulme Circular Afternoon Ride

Cheadle Hulme Circular Afternoon Ride

After the previous weekends’ snowy ride to Lymm, it was pleasing to arrive in far more pleasant weather at Adswood Park. This was the start point for the Stockport Community Cycling Club Cheadle Hulme Circular afternoon ride. Originally the ride was going to include a section along the new Ladybrook Valley path (hence the initially being titled ‘Ladybook Valley’). Through Cheadle Hulme, then Bruntwood Park. Just after leaving Bruntwood Park, one of the group had a puncture, so there were some emergency repairs before we continued….

SCCC Ride to Lymm

SCCC Ride to Lymm

It was a lovely sunny day, although a little chilly to start with. The Stockport Community Cycling Club ride officially started from Atlantic Street in Broadheath. However we decided to cycle to the starting point. Our route took us out through Cheadle (where we caught up with another member from the club), Gatley, Wythenshawe and Timperley. By the time we reached the official start point we had cycled 11 miles. The club ride route followed out along the Transpennine Trail…
