Last Saturday was Stockport Community Cycling Club‘s AGM. As has now become a tradition, it was followed by this Portland Basin 2019 cycle ride. This year the AGM was held at Bredbury Library. Leaving Bredbury, we headed for Woodley. Here we joined the Peak Forest canal. We followed the canal all the way to Portland Basin. At Hyde, we crossed over from one side of the canal to the other. Saturday was the date for Stockport Community Cycling Club‘s AGM. Once the official business had been completed it was back to why we are part of the club, the cycling. Upon leaving the Lapwing Centre in Brinnington we weaved our way through to Haughton Dale. We picked up the Peak Forest Canal.
