Our Way of the Roses 2017 Day 1 began when we left the Lancaster Travelodge and cycled over the Millennium Bridge. Lancaster to Morecambe We then cycled along the river following NCN 69 to Morecambe. Our Way of the Roses 2017 Itinerary outlines our first tour of the year, starting in May. Sustrans describes this as a spectacular coast-to-coast cycle route passing through both the red rose county of Lancashire and the white rose county of Yorkshire.
